I forgot to mention that Tiger Woods spoke at the concert yesterday!
We've had a great day. I went to Macy's to find a hat because it is freezing. I decided that $35 way a little steep for this public teacher to pay for a hat. I walked out the door, and five steps away was a street vendor. I bought a nice hat for $5. Robb got some Barack Obama cologne from the same vendor and a huge "bling" watch. Nice.
The traffic is picking up somewhat. The biggest thing we've noticed......no protesters. I want to see some protesters. Other than us there aren't even any freaks here. Maybe tomorrow.
Off to have dinner in Maryland with some friends. I have to be back in early tonight. We need to be on the Metro in the morning no later than 5 AM. I'm so excited.
As one of my dear friends always says, "Just glad to be here." Well, I'm REALLY glad to be here!

We are looking for you right now on TV, Telling the kids that you were on TV and they needed to find you was the only way I could get them to LET ME WATCH IT without complaining. It's kind of like "Where's Waldo"...Hee Hee Anyway, I'm so happy you guys are there. What an awesome event. To know that we are actually alive to see one of the great moments in history.
