We are heading to Washington, D.C.!
We have packed and packed, anticipating a cold inauguration. We broke our two month Wal-Mart hiatus. Robb bought every pack of "Hot Hands" on the shelves. Needless to say we have two pairs of hot hands for our gloves, per day, and two pairs for our boots, per day. He even bought "Hot Hands" for his camera. I kid you not.
I have no idea what to expect. I anticipate a crowd, but remember, a big crowd to me is Neyland Stadium on football Saturdays.
Look for us on TV. I'll be the short redhead missing all the action. Luckily, Robb bought a zoom lens for his camera. Maybe I'll get to see the pictures.
The last two times we were in the big city of DC, the Smithsonian Museum of American History was closed. Not this time. I can't wait to go. I want to see Archie Bunker's chair!

We're so excited for you two, and following your every move. Tell Robb not to buy up all the Hand Warmers. We need about 200 for our hike!!! We're currently in Waynsville (we have to come to the "big city" to shop). Its snowing. What a crowd! Keep us informed. We're loving your writing. ReplyDeleteJackson and I looked and looked and we finally found you on CNN and CSPAN. Then we figured out you were just two flies on the screen.
ReplyDeleteJust so you know, we are working on the ABCs of Legos and we think you will be proud. Jackson has built a fort in the living room for Flower, Rosie and Nene. Jackson said, "It is fun to act like a dog in a cage."
